“Let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith” (Hebrews 12:1-2).

I am so blessed to think of the race of which the writer of Hebrews speaks. This race has a starting point and a finish line. It most certainly has its twists and turns, challenges as well as blessings. Of course we are speaking about the Christian’s life. All throughout this race of ours we have the amazing privilege of looking unto the Lord Jesus because He is in the race with us. We aren’t competing against each other, but rather we are running together. Regardless of where you are on the course right now, “keep running” because not only are we there with you, best of all, the Lord Jesus is there with you.

Here’s something to think about today: Are you healthy spiritually? You’ll need to be to run your race with the Lord.
