You either go to my website or you have subscribed to “Dr. Mike’s Daily Prescriptions.” In addition to this daily ministry, I have a weekly writing ministry to the retired folks of Baptist Church Planters called “Dr. Mike’s Weekly House Call” which is a two-page newsletter. On May 23, 2023, I sent the following greeting to them.

May the Lord’s blessings be yours. “The LORD bless thee, and keep thee; the LORD make His face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up His countenance upon thee, and give thee peace” (Numbers 6:24-26).

May your service to our awesome God be joyful. “Serve the LORD with gladness: come before His presence with singing” (Psalm 100:2).

May your opportunities to witness be special. “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear” (1 Peter 3:15).

May your laughter be plentiful. “Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heather, The LORD hath done great things for them. The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad” (Psalm 126:2-3).

Back to today. Together as believers, you and I have much for which to thank the Lord, don’t we? He really has done great things for us.
