“Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever: the scepter of Thy kingdom is a right scepter. Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness” (Psalm 45:6-7).

 We must never forget the awesome majesty of the Lord our God. He rules and reigns in His sovereignty. He loves righteousness and hates wickedness. We live in a day and age when so many do consider their actions to be wicked. Defiantly opposing God’s standard, many say, “We live in a different day and age. It is 2013. Get with it.” Regardless of the year of our existence, our God remains the same. He still loves righteousness. May that be an encouragement to us in the way we live and think.

For today: We belong to the righteous One who still loves righteousness. How wonderful is this for today?
