“Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments” (Psalm 112:1).

Pastor Kenward sat back in his office chair and enjoyed the afternoon cup of hot black coffee. “Two minutes, Lord, that’s all I need. Just two minutes between counseling appointments,” he said to the Lord. Glancing at his watch, he realized that he actually had ten minutes before the next counselees would arrive. The next couple was going to be a challenge. Neither were members of the church he was pastoring. Though he required that they attend at least one service per week, neither were responsive to the Word. Both were stubborn.

“How can I get them into your Word, Father?” he whispered. Just then he looked up, and there it was, right on the third shelf from the top in the middle section. “Why didn’t I think of this before?” he said right out loud to the Lord. Gulping down his coffee, he indicated to Marie that he was ready for the couple to come in when they arrived. I’ll tell you tomorrow what he saw! Think of this right now, however. You will be blessed if you fear the Lord and delight in His Word.
