“Just Remember, Mom, Who Must Be Pleased”
“As you have received of us how you ought to walk, and to please God, so you would abound more and more” (1 Thessalonians 4:1).
It’s fine to ask for advice. There’s nothing wrong with reading books on how to raise children. But if I could give moms one bit of advice, it would be this simple thing. At the beginning of your day, and often throughout it, whisper to the Lord Jesus, “What would You do in this situation? Help me to please You.” Make pleasing the Lord Jesus your greatest goal.
