“Karen’s Notes!
Insights from a Glory-Bound Lady”
Selected Notes
Volume 1 Number 23, “Perspective, Perspective, Perspective” September12, 2018
In 2008 on April 25th and 26th Karen spoke at the ladies’ retreat of the First Baptist Church of Lagrange, Ohio. Today and next week I am happy to share a couple of the things that she wrote and shared with the ladies. Men, these things are good for us as well.
“For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Savior…” (Isaiah 43:3).
Karen wrote: In our finite minds we often try to put everything in a neat little box or on a list. God can’t be contained nor would we want Him to be. He views our life from a much different perspective than we view it because He sees the whole picture and He is the LORD.
Michael’s observation: It is wonderful to belong to such a Lord Who is much bigger than my feeble and finite mind can fully understand. I don’t have to comprehend everything. I simply must by faith know that He is my Savior and therefore I will obey Him, trust Him, and love Him. How will this be played out in your life today?
