“Karen’s Notes!
Insights from a Glory-Bound Lady”

Selected Notes
Volume 2 Number 21 “Powerful Blessings from the God of All Hope!”
May 22nd, 2019

Karen’s Notes today come from a sermon I preached many years ago. I was in Romans 15 and was speaking about the blessings that we enjoy even in the hard times of our lives. Karen underlined a verse in that chapter that meant a lot to her and then wrote some very precious notes. Let me share the underlined verse and then her notes.

“Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost” (Romans 15:13).

Karen wrote: Knowing Him better in the times of stress. In the times of uncertainty, He’s the God of all hope. The Lord:
– Knows me (John 10:4, 27)
– Holds me (John 10:28)
– Never makes a mistake
– Is directing my life (Psalm 73:24).

Michael’s observation: Even though Karen didn’t share a particular reference to the truth that God makes no mistakes, she surely believed this. “As for God, His way is perfect” (Psalm 18:30) is just one of many verses that clearly teach this. So, when we face stressful times of uncertainty, what wonderful help and powerful blessings are available to us as well?
