“Karen’s Notes!

Insights from a Glory-Bound Lady”

Selected Notes

Volume 2 Number 28 “Growing In Those Changing Seasons of Life”

July 10th, 2019

Thank you for being so gracious to take time from your very busy schedule to read “Karen’s Notes” each week. I do not know where Karen was speaking when she shared three sessions on “Surviving and Thriving through the Seasons of Life.” I’ll share the text of Scripture and then a few lines from her opening notes. I pray that it will be an encouragement and blessing to you.

“Thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ”               (1 Corinthians 15:57).

Karen wrote: As God’s creation is refreshed and rested through the changes of season, so do we have opportunity to grow and “thrive” though our seasons of life. Some of the seasons are easier to deal with than others. The challenge is to respond in a Godly manner bringing glory to the LORD; rather than to react in the flesh and tarnish our testimony.

Michael’s observation: She went on to point out that the trials through which we travel are not easy at times. But the wonderful news is that for the believer, we do not face these alone. We have the precious help of the Lord, the direction of the Word, the power of the Holy Spirit and the encouragement of fellow believers. So whatever season of life we might be in, let’s determine with the Lord’s help to “thrive” not just “survive” by grumbling our way through it.
