“Karen’s Notes!

Insights from a Glory-Bound Lady”

Selected Notes

Volume 2 Number 38 “God’s Incredible Questions!”

September 18th, 2019

I shared with you last week how fifteen years ago Karen taught a ladies’ seminar about the questions that the Lord posed to His people. These questions were designed to reveal the glory, power, and majesty of His person. Let me share the questions and then what Karen wrote.

“To whom then will you liken me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One” (Isaiah 41:25).

Think of the question. To whom could you possibly liken the Lord? The obvious answer is “No one!”  She shared the following outline that’s great not only for ladies but for we men as well.

Karen wrote:

1. Think of Who God Is. “Hast thou not known? Hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth fainteth not, neither is weary? There is no searching of His understanding” (Isaiah 40:28).

2. Think of What God Wants To Do. “He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might He increaseth strength” (Isaiah 40:29).

Michael’s Observation: Many who faithfully read Karen’s Notes have shared with me that they are going through very overwhelming times. Isn’t it wonderful, absolutely wonderful, to know that when we feel weak, He is absolutely strong! We can trust Him today. More about this next week.
