“Karen’s Notes! Insights from a Glory-Bound Lady”

Selected Notes

Volume 2 Number 52, “Think of His Gift to Us!” December 25, 2019

I discovered something that Karen wrote on or around Christmas several years ago. She was reading in John 1 and was so blessed by the incredible verse, “And the WORD was made flesh and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth” (John 1:14).

Beside John 1:14, in her own words, this is what she wrote.

Karen wrote:
Awe. I simply stand in awe of this (John 1:14).
Appreciation for the plan (Romans 1:16).
Amazement at the price (2 Corinthians 8:9).
Assurance of His presence (Hebrews 13:5).

Michael’s Observation: She didn’t write too much this day. She was becoming more and more ill with the cancer and chemotherapy. I honestly don’t think she had the energy to write much more than these few words. But just think of this. Think of the incredible blessings that you and I as Christians enjoy because the Word was made flesh to become our Savior. I am so blessed to be able to share this with my family and friends today. Blessed Incarnation Day to you and those you love.
