Insights from a Glory-Bound Lady”
Selected Notes
Volume 4 Number 24 “Paul Was Never Bitter! I Must Trust as Well!”

“Karen’s Notes” has become one of the busiest days on my website. I have appreciated the amazing responses of how the Lord, in His sovereignty, has caused her few notes to arrive just at the right time in places throughout the world. I am not sure what you are facing today. But think of what Karen wrote and see how it applies to you or someone that you love.
Karen wrote: Paul built his life and ministry upon Christ and Christ alone. He went through such hard times (2 Corinthians 11:24-28). He writes from prison to the church at Philippi, “But I would ye should understand, brethren, that the things which happened unto me have fallen out rather unto the furtherance of the gospel” (Philippians 1:12). It is Christ and Christ alone when he wrote, “For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain” (Philippians 1:21).
Christ has taken me through some deep waters. Those times of going through the Refiner’s fire in our lives can be discouraging, frightening, and sometimes they feel like they are never ending. There are only two ways to come through these experiences. We will either be bitter or better.
Michael’s observation: Occasionally men and ladies share with me some of the situations that they are currently facing. I can tell you from personal experience, the Lord God can be fully trusted even when we don’t understand and when the situation doesn’t make any sense to us. We will come through it either bitter or blessed. Bitterness only makes the hard situation worse. May the Lord give us grace to trust Him and come through the trials better and blessed.
