“For whom the LORD loveth He correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth” (Proverbs 3:12).

If you have placed your faith in Christ, you can gladly proclaim, “My Father is perfect!” Because the Lord loves us with a perfect love, He corrects us with perfect correction. He delights in us and never grows weary with our child-training.

For today: Are you listening to your perfect Father as you read His Word? He understands that we will not be perfect on this side of Heaven. But on the other hand, He wants to conform us to the image of His Son. Think about what you have read from the Word today!
