“I know thy works: Behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept My word, and has not denied My name” (Revelation 3:8).

It was a very powerful day at their church. After months of praying and asking the Lord for wisdom and direction, this was the day that the First Baptist Church would vote on moving forward and entering a major building project. The young pastor had been there only a few weeks. Several stood to speak in the business meeting. Good questions were asked and thoroughly and loving answered by the men who were leading the meeting. After all the questions were addressed, the chairman of the Deacons said, “Folks, we have waited for this day for a long time. Now if the Lord is in this, it will be like a great open door.” It would be just like that throughout the building project. They would see and appreciate the blessing of the Lord upon the ministry in ways that only the Lord could orchestrate. What is the Lord leading you to do? Do you have His clear leading? Watch for His open door that will enable you to do things that you never imagined.

For today: If you are facing an open door, just be sure it is from the Lord. There’s nothing like His blessings!
