How about a little bit of trivia today? Did you know that in 1903 Crayola released its very first box of colored crayons? According to triviagenius.com, there were only eight colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet, brown, and black. Over the next 100 years, Crayola released more than 120 different colors.
Do you remember the thrill of being a child and getting your brand new box of Crayola crayons? To be very honest, I have a hard time remembering what happened two months ago; however, I can remember not only the thrill of my very own brand new box, I can remember the smell. Do you remember those? Who would have ever thought that they could come up with 120 different colors?
Think of our awesome Creator. Certainly the creativity of Crayola is worth noting. But it doesn’t come close to comparing with the awesome Creator. “All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made” (John 1:3). “For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him” (Colossians 1:16). You and I are in love! We are in love with our awesome Creator Who became our Savior!
Awesome Savior, Creator and Lord!
He brought forth everything by His own Word.
Oh, how grand it is our voice to raise,
We worship Him and daily give Him praise!
Blessings on you today, dear friends.
