“The LORD liveth; and blessed be my Rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted” (Psalm 18:46).
Rosemary was sitting at her kitchen table with thoughts of hopelessness and helplessness. She was still out of work. She was lonely. She was discouraged. To be honest, there were times that she felt totally overwhelmed and hot tears would flow down her cheeks. Suddenly her phone made the noise that a text was coming through. From over a thousand miles away, Jennifer was reading her Bible and had just come to Psalm 18:46. A sudden strong prompting caused her to put her Bible on her lap and pick up her phone to text this verse to Rosemary. Jennifer knew nothing of what was going through Rosie’s mind that morning. But the Lord knew that Rosie needed to hear that our LORD is alive, He is our Rock, He is our Savior, and He is worthy to be praised. It lifted Rosemary’s spirit, and that morning a precious praise meeting took place between two people over a thousand miles apart. How does this verse impact you?
For today: Your God Who is alive wants to demonstrate how wonderful it is to build your life on the Rock. Watch how this will be a blessing today.
