“But as it is written, eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him. But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit” (1 Corinthians 2:9-10).
I have been reading in the Old Testament for my morning devotions. Recently I came to 1 Kings 10 which gives the information about the Queen of Sheba coming for a visit to Solomon. After viewing all the splendor of his royal rule and reign, she reported to him that only the half was told. I always think about the Father’s House when I read the Queen’s description. I truly believe that when the saints are home with the Lord, we will be filled with amazement. It will be far more glorious and more wonderful than we could ever have imagined. THEREFORE! With this in mind, I’m going to be singing, “This world is not my home; I’m just a-passin’ through. My treasures are laid up somewhere beyond the blue. The angels beckon me from Heaven’s open door, and I can’t feel at home in this world anymore.”
For today: This could be the day when we go Home! What a day that will be!
