Tuesday Evening May 19th Update

“We Need Your Prayers This Evening”

As in any journey of life there are mountain tops and there are valleys through which we travel. Yesterday Karen felt the best since her diagnosis. Today is not the case. It is one of the days in which her cancer and the treatment to fight it, is causing my Karen not to be feeling well. Fatigue has set in. I am looking at her across the family room. I am seeing the most beautiful woman wrapped up in a blanket and soon to be checking the inside of her eyelids!

I am so thankful that the Lord is our great God on the mountain top as well as our great Lord during the valley times of our lives. It is in times like this that I am reminded of “Be still, and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10).  Mountaintops are great places to worship. But I have found that in the valley experiences we really get to know our great God the best.
