Shhhh!

There is an interesting conversation going on at the corner table. Nick is sharing a Bible verse and his testimony with a group of fellows over their breakfast. Let’s listen in.

“Surely the righteous shall give thanks unto Thy Name: the upright shall dwell in Thy presence” (Psalm 140:13).

“When the Lord saved me,” Nick said, “He changed me from the inside out. I was one of the most cantankerous miserable men in the world. I had so many blessings all around me, but was I thankful? Nope! Not me,” he shared with the men at the breakfast table.

“The change wasn’t overnight. Slowly but surely the Lord helped me to see things differently. Soon after trusting the Lord, my wife read Psalm 140:13 to me. It spoke of the righteous giving thanks. I was struck with the connection between the righteous and the giving of thanks. Yep, boys! It changed my life!” he said with a settled tone in his voice.

For today: Wasn’t it great listening in on the conversation at the corner table with Nick and the boys? By the way, how will this play out in your life today?
