Here we have another reason to give thanks to the Lord in the days leading up to Thanksgiving.

“Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of His, and give thanks at the remembrance of His holiness” (Psalm 30:4).

I love that wonderful hymn written by Reginald Heber (1788-1826), a pastor, hymnwriter, and missionary to India. The first verse of the lyrics proclaims,

Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty
Early in the morning Our song shall rise to Thee
Holy, holy, holy! Merciful and mighty
God in three persons, Blessed Trinity!

I am sure we won’t be able to get that wonderful hymn out of our minds today, will we? Good! That’s just what I was hoping would be the case! Love you folks and truly, give thanks with me at the remembrance of His holiness today.
