“For ever, O LORD, Thy Word is settled in Heaven” (Psalm 119:89).

I love the ministry which the Lord has given me these days. It is a privilege to serve as a missionary with Baptist Church Planters and be their author and family counselor. I have just finished writing the 200 page book “Pardon the Dust- Our Marriage is Under Construction.” As an author I am fully aware of how many people assist me in my writing projects. I have an editor, proofreaders, a graphic artist for layout, and a financial officer that handles all of the business arrangements. When it comes to editing, it is amazing how many times the manuscript is poured over, rewritten, corrected, tweaked, and just when we think it is finished, it is very possible to still find something that needs correcting. How different with the Bible! God’s Word is forever settled in Heaven. He doesn’t change His mind. He doesn’t think of a better way of writing it. His Word is awesome in every way. We need to love it, obey it, apply it, and live it out daily. He is the only Author Who doesn’t need and depend upon an editor!
