“That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that you being rooted and grounded in love” (Ephesians 3:17).
I know that I have captured just a phrase of one of the prayers of Paul for the church of Ephesus. I know that typically this is not first choice. This, however, is a lengthy prayer of Paul. He prays for their strength (16), depth (17), apprehension (18-19a), and fullness (19b). Basically, he truly desires that the Lord would so work in the lives of the dear folks at Ephesus in such an incredible way that they would really begin to comprehend what a precious Savior is our Lord Jesus. He prays that there would be a powerful and personal knowledge of Christ and fellowship with Him. Guess what? This is just what I pray for you as well, dear friend.
For today: When it comes to our Savior, never stop learning about Him.
