“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6).

Cindy had been married only two weeks when she decided to make a pie for her new husband, Andy. Knowing how much he loved cherry pie, she wanted to make it to please him. She phoned her mom and said, “I don’t think I can do this. It never seemed complicated when I watched you. Now it seems impossible to me.” Her wise mother laughed just a little and then calmly said, “Honey, follow the recipe. Take your time and do what the directions say.” The next day, Cindy called home again and laughing with her mother, confessed that mom was right. All she had to do was follow the directions. It is the same with the Lord Jesus. Regardless of our pagan society that demands inclusivism, if you want to come to the Father, you must follow the directions and come through the Lord Jesus.
