We are celebrating joy on these first days of September.

This gives us joy today: “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6).

We who follow Christ know that He is the ONLY way to the Father. How grateful we are that salvation is not up to our good intentions, actions, or accomplishments. We cannot pay our way into Heaven. We cannot produce good works to get us to Heaven. We can’t be wise enough, smart enough, rich enough or anything enough to get to the Father by our self-efforts.

Listen, friends, I am all about being gracious and kind to every person. However, this thing of being inclusive has gone way too far. I am so far out of step with the world that I don’t celebrate every lifestyle. I am so far out of step with the world that I still believe God’s Word. I am so far out of step with the world that I truly declare with all my heart that the Lord Jesus meant what He said that He is the ONLY way to the Father.

Aren’t you glad that you belong to Him? I know that for us who follow the Lord, we rejoice for the privilege and blessing of trusting the One and only way to eternal life. The Lord Jesus only is the way, truth, and life. What a wonderful Savior indeed.
