Typically “never” triggers an angry reaction when it is used in a heated argument. However! There are some wonderful things to which we ought to apply the word “never!”
1. We must NEVER be casual in our fear of the Lord (Psalm 89:7).
2. We must NEVER be comfortable in our daily routine or service to others (2 Timothy 4:5).
3. We must NEVER be calloused in our view of sin (1 John 1:9).
4. We must NEVER be critical in our spirit or treatment of others (Galatians 5:22-23).
5. We must NEVER be confident in our own abilities (Genesis 3:19; Proverbs 3:26).
6. We must NEVER be conformed to this world (1 John 2:15-17).
