Ten Resurrection Appearances of Christ

What a wonderful record the Word of God gives us of those who were eyewitnesses of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus! Many of these dear people laid down their lives as they testified of Christ’s resurrection. Think of these appearances of the risen Savior.

1. Mary Magdelene (John 20:11-18)
2. The other women (Matthew 28:9-10)
3. Peter (Luke 24:34)
4. The two disciples on the Emmaus Road (Luke 24:13-32)
5. All the disciples except Thomas (John 20:19-25)
6. Eight days later, all the disciples and Thomas (John 20:26-31)
7. The seven disciples on the Sea of Galilee (John 21)
8. Five hundred believers (1 Corinthians 15:6)
9. James the half-brother of Christ (1 Corinthians 15:7)
10. The disciples at the ascension (Acts 1)

Then as Paul would put it, “And last of all He was seen of me also, as one born out of due time” (1 Corinthians 15:6).
