The Worth of a Mother
If mothers were issued a paycheck, I suspect it would surprise many as to what the size of the check should be. Various salary-related websites suggest that mothers are worth a lot more in salary than most people would imagine. The national median salary, according to salary.com, for a typical stay-at-home mom in the United States would be to the tune of $118,899!
The greatest reward is not monetary. According to Proverbs 31:28, “Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her.” Nothing thrills the heart of a Godly mom more than to be appreciated and cherished by her husband and children. Be careful that your words and expressions of appreciation are not limited to just Mother’s Day.
