To Be Honest it has been Difficult Day
Tuesday June 2, 2015 Update
We were well prepared by our medical team that this round of chemotherapy might be more difficult than the other rounds. Karen’s mass has been blasted with incredible medicines, not once but four times now. The Nuelasta injection has jump started her bone marrow, not once, but three times now.
Tonight she is fatigued, in pain, nauseated, and very thankful that the fourth round of chemotherapy is now completed. It is in times like this that we rest in our Father’s hands and trust His care. It is a blessing to know that we can “Cast our cares upon Him because he cares for us” (1 Peter 5:7). This verse is not mere theory to us. It is right where we are living. Let me be honest. Are we discouraged? Sometimes. Are we frightened? Sometimes. But these moments do last long. We really are experiencing the Lord’s encouragement and comfort. We need the Lord in very special ways. Thank you for praying. It is amazing to have so many who love us and care about us. So we cast our cares upon Him rejoicing in the fact that He cares for us.
