“He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces…for the LORD hath spoken it” (Isaiah 25:8).

Isaiah looked forward to a grand time indeed. John also verified that there will be a precious time ahead when the Lord Himself will wipe away all tears (Revelation 21:4). Believers of every age have wondered how the Lord will do this. We will sense the loving embrace and know firsthand by sight the Father’s fullness, the Savior’s magnificence, and the Spirit’s presence, and somehow by His voice and act all tears will be forever gone. Think of the tears you have shed. God is mindful of them. The day is coming that you will never have reason to cry again. What a grand day that will be!
