An Update and Prayer Requests from Michael and Karen Peck
July 7th, 2016
Tomorrow morning at 11:00 my Karen is to be fitted with the unique and individual saddle which will help to hold her very still for the upcoming Cyber Knife surgery. This fitting is very important and we are looking forward to it with great delight. Hopefully tomorrow we should get some idea of when the Cyber Knife surgery will be scheduled. When the radiation oncologist explained the various steps, he told us to plan on three or four Cyber Knife procedures. What an incredible day and age in which we live. Imagine telling folks who lived forty years ago that Karen was going to have surgery to obliterate a mass in her lung without an incision or any sutures! They would never have believed it. Would they?
I am so excited to share with you that as soon as I finish teaching a Sunday school class on marriage at our church; Karen and I will quickly head to our car and race (within the speed limit!) to the Abbe Road Baptist Church where I have the privilege of speaking in the morning and evening service. How very kind of the Lord to allow me the privilege of speaking to this dear church family.
I’m going to be speaking on the topic of how the Lord wants us to be just like a very, very thirsty deer! I can’t wait to share with the folks at Abbe Road from Psalm 42.
