Monday Morning Update
“The Chicken Noodle Soup Made Me Glad!”
An Update on My Karen for March 13th, 2017
Thank you so much for your prayers dear friends. The Lord answered with a yes. I know that many of us were praying that the doctors would have wisdom and that Karen’s nausea would slow down. Karen still is very weak and easily nauseated. But she was able to eat a little chicken noodle soup at lunch and suppertime along with a couple of saltine crackers. She slept better last night as well. Thank you friends.
Please don’t stop praying. Our medical team will need wisdom in deciding when she will be discharged. There are several factors that will determine when she will be ready to go home. I am so glad that every detail of our lives are in the Lord’s hands. He’s a great Shepherd. Pastor Paul Reimer has lovingly reminded us of this blessed truth found in John 10:4. “And when He puts forth His own sheep, He goes before them, and the sheep follow Him: for they know His voice.” Karen and I are so happy to be some of the Lord’s sheep. We truly want to follow our Great Shepherd.
Whatever you are facing today, give it over to the Great Shepherd and follow Him. It might not be easy. However, it will be the best. Thank you again friends. We are truly blessed on this journey.
