“For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion: in the secret of His tabernacle shall He hide me” (Psalm 27:5).
Yesterday we spoke of David’s sense of confidence (Psalm 27:3-4). Today think about his declaration of being hidden in God’s special pavilion when the times of trouble break overhead. If you have been in the storm, there is nothing as wonderful as discovering the shelter that comes in God’s own dear pavilion. This pavilion isn’t made of lumber and nails. You will never have to paint it. It is the personal and private fellowship with the Holy One. It is drawing closer to Him through reading His Word and prayer. In the storm, you will be very happy for the Shelter.
For today: Are you in a storm? You can rest in the pavilion of God’s sweet, personal fellowship.
