Grammatically speaking, this is an oxymoron, which is a figure of speech in which contradictory ideas are combined. Phrases such as thunderous silence or sweet sorrow are examples of the oxymoron. Here we find Abraham beyond hope believing in hope. What a blessing indeed. That which is impossible becomes possible if God says so and makes it possible. What are you facing today? If God says it in His Word, our contradictory circumstance is not too hard for Him. What an awesome Lord to Whom we belong.
