“I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase” (1 Corinthians 3:6).

How wise the Creator Lord God made us. A Sunday school teacher and electrician were talking as they walked down the Christian education hallway of their local church. “I’d have no idea how to do your job, Vance. Why, if I tried to do electrical work, the fire department would have to be called,” Wesley said.  Vance laughed and answered, “Well, I am happy to stick to the electrical work, but please do not call on me to speak in class. I’d rather do most anything in the entire world other than speak before a class. I mean almost anything, Wes.” The pastor walked by and said, “I planted. Apollos watered. God gives the increase. Thanks so much, guys, for serving in just the way the Lord has planned for you.  By the way, guys, I think you’re both great at what you do.” God uses various folks for various ministries. Ultimately it is He Who brings the results.

For today: I want to serve in whatever way the Lord wants to use me. How about you?
