We’ve Got Big News!
Karen’s Cyber Knife Surgery Date
July 9th Update

Yesterday was a big day for my Karen and the rest of us as well. Karen was fitted for the protective covering which will hold her very still for the Cyber Knife surgery. We met with our doctor (He is not only an MD, he is also a PhD!) who explained a little more about the procedure. After he left, the RN who was working with Karen explained that there are two more specialists who work with him in preparing the Cyber Knife information that is tailor made for Karen. You might want to check my previous prayer letter post if you missed it. This contains information from the hospital about the amazing Cyber Knife surgery. It is so incredible.

We are to return very early in the morning to the University Hospital in downtown Cleveland on July 14th, this coming Thursday, for her first Cyber Knife surgical procedure. We will get the dates of the following three procedures that day. Dr. Ove told us that he wanted to have the four surgical procedures completed by August 1st. Karen and I cannot begin to tell you how thrilled we are to be so privileged and blessed by the Lord. Honestly, the medical team did not expect that Karen would be here and doing as well as she has done. Dr. Ove told us, “It is evident that your mass is not going to take you. Rather it likes living with you. So we are going to obliterate it.” I told him that I told you folks that “obliterate” has become my new favorite word!
