“For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile” (1 Peter 3:10).
Samuelson, as he was called, was such a knowledgeable worker. He understood the working of the huge machines in the factory. He could fix anything. With the production demands, he was very much needed. However, there was a problem. While he was great with the machines, he was not so good with the rest of the workers. “Samuelson” was opinionated and felt very free to share his thoughts. He seldom was tactful. He often was crude and rude with the way that he spoke to his co-workers. Sad, isn’t it? He was great with machines but not so great with people. He should do just as Peter said, “Refrain his tongue from evil.”
For today: Do folks think that it is better for you to hang out with machines than with them? Perhaps you should reconsider what Peter told us!
